Abstract

This study aimed to explain a role of faculty development on social capital in distance education. The research method was descriptive and data analysis method was SEM that Sample size was determined 181 faculty members of Tehran branch of Payam Noor University by Stratified random sampling. Faculty development made questionnaire design with the reliability [α =0/94] and social capital questionnaire of Nahapiet & Ghoshal[1998] with the reliability [α=0/92] were used to collect data. Results showed faculty development and social capital of sample size higher than the average and faculty development [r=0/71] had a significant positive correlation with social capital of sample [p

Abstract [Persian]

پژوهش حاضر با هدف تبیین نقش بالندگی اعضای هیات علمی بر سرمایه‌ اجتماعی در دانشگاه پیام نور استان تهران انجام شده‌‌است. روش پژوهش از نظر هدف کاربردی و از نظر روش های جمع آوری داده ها توصیفی و روش تحلیل از نوع مدل‌یابی معادلات ساختاری بوده است. جامعه پژوهش شامل اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه پیام نور استان تهران بوده که با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری طبقه‌ای با اختصاص متناسب، 181 نفر از آنان انتخاب شدند. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از پرسش‌نامه‌ بالندگی محقق ساخته با پایایی(96/0=α) و پرسش‌نامه سرمایة اجتماعی ناهاپیت و گوشال ( ( 1998 با پایایی(96/0=α) استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد، تمامی مؤلفه‌های بالندگی اعضای هیات علمی و سرمایه اجتماعی بالاتر از حد متوسط بوده است و بالندگی اعضای هیات علمی(67/0r=) با سرمایه‌ اجتماعی رابطه مثبت و معناداری(p
