Objective: The new development in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) education has raised interest with a sense of urgency about further refining it in the area of science education. Method: The qualitative study provides an insight into views of science teachers about the potential and limitation of employing ChatGPT in science education and how to take advantage of such technology-based developments. Methods: The research was conducted based on 46 science teachers of Zanjan province, using the snowball sampling method. Results: The teachers gave feedback on how ChatGPT can be beneficial and restrictive as an effective educational tool for their classroom. Overall, findings paint a picture where even though the teachers openly acknowledged that ChatGPT is full of potential to make so much space for interaction, they were still concerned about the impact of the technology, for instance, making too much dependency on the technology among the learners and how the tools impede the capacity of the students in thinking critically and creatively. The results also support discussion of future Career development opportunities with responsive curricula redesign for the sake of leveraging the possibilities of AI tools in an effort to support learning. Practice and policy implications and directions for research on the career development opportunities are considered in the conclusion and limitations of the study. Conclusion: .This study adds to the growing field of education and AI by highlighting the need to balance innovation with pedagogical responsibility. It shows that AI can enhance teaching as a supportive tool, not a replacement. Successful integration requires attention to equity, ethics, and collaboration among educators, policymakers, and technologists.

The fusion of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and open educational resources (OER) has brought about a transformative wave in global education, elevating both student engagement and academic performance. Despite these positive strides, persistent challenges such as gender-based technology disparities and social factors remain prevalent. The COVID-19 pandemic has acted as a catalyst, accelerating the adoption of OER. This study examined availability and accessibility of open educational resources in distance learning centers in Oyo stateA descriptive survey research design was adopted, the study gathered data through a Google Form-based online questionnaire, reaching 500 open educational students across three distance learning centres, 381 valid responses were retained for analysis, which was performed using SPSS software. The findings unveiled that open educational resources were available in distance learning centers, predominantly through e-library platforms. Students possessed access to essential devices and could connect to OER through their centre’s website and free Wi-Fi. A noteworthy negative correlation between resource availability and access was identified. Furthermore, a significant gender-based difference was noted, favouring male students with higher access to OER compared to their female counterparts. The study affirmed the availability of open educational resources in distance learning canters and the students' access to these resources. Recommendations included efforts to enhance availability, improve student access.

Using Critical Digital Pedagogy (CDP) considering the recent technological advancements in the field of education as well as the prevalence of critical pedagogy (CP) in the World educational systems. This qualitative study aimed to uncover ELT experts’ and English literature teachers’ perceptions of a technology-laden CP-based EFL teacher preparation program for the context of Iran within a basic interpretive design. A total of thirty male and female ELT experts with a PhD in TEFL who were selected through convenience sampling from among experienced university professors who had relevant research expertise in the field. They were university professors with PhD in TEFL with different years of teaching experience. To collect the data, a semi-structured interview was used. Data analysis was done by the MAXQDA. The results showed that the perceptions of ELT experts and English literature teachers were both in line with the tenets of CP and the use of technology in education. Further, it was indicated that the perceptions of ELT experts and English literature teachers of a technology-laden CP-based EFL teacher preparation program for the context of Iran were significantly different. The findings have some implications for EFL teacher education administrators, curriculum planners and educators. Key Words: Critical Pedagogy (CP), Critical Digital Pedagogy (CDP), EFL Teacher Education, Technology.
