The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between worry about university reopening and negative behavioral reactions in students in the current Covid-19 pandemic. The study is based on cross-sectional survey research method and the data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire (total Chronbach’s alpha: 0.84). . To ensure the content validity of the questionnaire, a number of psychologists and experts in the field of student counseling examined the content of the questionnaire. The study population included all students in the country, from which 1865 people were selected by convenience sampling. Survey findings show that 56% of students at different levels of education agree with the reopening of universities and 44% disagree. The results of univariate chi-square test show a significant difference between these two frequencies (X2 = 10.54, P = 0.001). Also, the results of two-variable chi-square test indicate the relationship between students' worries about their health with the reopening of universities and dealing with violators of health protocols (X2 = 60.61, P = 0.001). There was no relationship between the probability of dealing with violators of health protocols and the level of education (X2 = 5.04, P = 0.53). It is suggested that special policies be considered in order to prevent any behavioral disturbances caused by students' disagreement about the level of compliance with health protocols in the university environment.

The present paper is a comprehensive empirical program of a group of faculty members in University of Sistan and Baluchestan on decreased fraud solutions for e-tests. The group views and experiences were reviewed and shared on a dedicated online platform. In early 2020, shortly after the epidemic of Covid-19 and almost simultaneously with the opening of universities, this platform was established to share the experiences related to applying e-learning methods for courses that were mainly in person so far. This is a qualitative interpretative phenomenology study. Materials, views, measures, and recommendations of a group of faculty members for decreased cheating in online tests were classified under some headings. In addition to the literature review, the most effective solutions to increase awareness and enhance students’ continence and honesty against the tendency to cheat and practical suggestions to reduce students’ fraud in online tests were provided. Research samples included faculty members of basic sciences, education and psychology, and engineering. Hence, however, some proposed strategies and approaches are widely used in a particular educational field and may be less practical in some other specialized areas.

The purpose of this research was to construct, validate and determine the reliability of online teaching satisfaction model among virtual course professors. For this purpose, an attempt has been made to design a questionnaire based on the model of Bolliger and Vasilik (2009) to measure the satisfaction of professors with online teaching. In order to create, compile and standardize such a questionnaire, the literature related to satisfaction with online teaching, which was available in the form of articles and books, was carefully reviewed. Finally, the definitions and concepts of satisfaction with online teaching were designed as 30 questions with 5 options using the "Likert scoring" method in the form of measuring the satisfaction of professors with online teaching. The reliability of the questionnaire was evaluated through Cronbach's alpha and retest and construct validity through confirmatory factor analysis. The formal and content validity of the questions was examined by asking the opinions of 19 expert professors in the field of online teaching, and its reliability was also tested on 50 professors of online courses in the "retest" method and at a time interval of 5 weeks. , 0.72 was calculated. Then the questionnaire was implemented on 350 professors of the virtual courses of Payam-Noor University and by using factor analysis with "rotational" method of "Varimax" type, 3 factors with characteristic value higher than 5 were determined as follows: "Satisfaction" from the organization", "student satisfaction" and "self satisfaction". Therefore, the reliability coefficients were between 0.68 and 0.89 for all subscales and 0.78 for the whole questionnaire by the test-retest method. The internal consistency coefficients for all subscales were between 0.62 and 0.75 and for the whole questionnaire was 0.93. In general, the validity and reliability coefficients obtained for the questionnaire were satisfactory. The designed questionnaire is distinguished from other questionnaires in the field of online teaching satisfaction for two reasons. First, this questionnaire covers areas of satisfaction that are related to organizational, student, and self-satisfaction. Second, each of its questions is derived from a defined index, and this issue makes the professors' "satisfaction with online teaching" based on a theoretical framework. Finally, it can be said that according to the reliability and validity results, this questionnaire is a relatively suitable tool for measuring the threshold of "satisfaction with online teaching" of online course professors at Payam Noor University. Obviously, building a scale to measure an existing structure is extremely difficult and time-consuming if done correctly; For example, studying the history of the formation of well-known tests in the world, which are highly reliable and valid.

The purpose of this research is to design and validate the model of combined education of educational organizations of the CEPA program for the protection of international wetlands in Sistan and Baluchistan region. In terms of purpose, this research is applied-developmental and in terms of qualitative-quantitative mixed method with exploratory approach. In the qualitative part, the main components of the model were extracted by combining the IBM blended learning model and the components of the CEPA program. Then, to determine the micro-components, evaluation and summarization of the discourse space was done through the Q method, and 51 Q phrases were selected from among 110 statements by ten experts. Then, the Q questionnaire was given to 19 specialists of the CEPA program through targeted sampling, and the micro-components were prioritized. Structural equation modeling analysis was used to test the model. In the quantitative part, the validation of the questionnaire was done by SPSS 22 and Amos software, and the researcher-made questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha of 91% was available to the participants. Based on the results of the qualitative part, the model includes four main components and 14 key micro-components. According to the results of the quantitative section, the t-statistic values for all factors are higher than the standard absolute value of 1.96. The validation of the research model also showed the significance of the relationships between the variables and the acceptability of the overall fit, and the research questions were suitable explanations. Creating the motivation for participation with the highest factor load was the first priority of the model design. Priority micro-components in the main component of communication and interaction, "educational network development", in education and information, "educational process development" in partnership and cooperation, "participatory and interdepartmental management" and sustainable practical action, jointly, "establishment of the indigenous approach" and "combined use of learner-centered styles" were selected.

This study aimed to examine the effect of educational software on 3rd-grade elementary-school students’ mathematical problem-solving skill. This was a quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest, controlled study. The statistical population comprised all 3rd-grade elementary-school male students in District 4 of Karaj (Iran) in the academic year 2018-2019. A sample was selected via convenience sampling, and the participants were randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups (20 each). On pretest, two tests of “numerical analysis” and “attention and concentration” (Wechsler test) and a researcher-made problem-solving skill test were administered. Then, the experimental group received eight 40-minute sessions of software training, while the control group received the class’s routine education. Finally, both groups took the posttest. The data were analyzed via univariate analysis of covariance and independent samples t-test. After the experimental intervention, the two groups demonstrated a significant difference (p < 0.001) at three levels of “problem-solving speed”, “attention and concentration”, and “numerical analysis”. The two groups also showed a significant difference at the level of “problem-solving strategy identification” (p < 0.05). Accordingly, the role of educational media, and especially educational software, can be highlighted in promoting students’ learning and mathematical problem-solving skill.

One integral constituent of argumentative writing is the capability of drawing upon relevant evidence to endorse an argument, a practice that itself necessitates elaborate reading and writing processes. Taking the position that writing can be an important skill to foster knowledge building pedagogy; this article explores changes made to argumentation behavior in L2 essay writing composed by two groups of language learners attending an integrated writing course. Thirty-one language learners as participants of the experimental group used two popular news mobile applications online and offline for reading as a pre-task activity that made them outperform their counterparts in the control group in terms of using factual evidence, namely statistics, incidence, findings, and quotations. The statistical analyses disclosed a significant difference in the overall writing ability of the two groups in the experimental group’s favor. This outperformance partly resulted from richer content presentation in essays written by those who had read through mobile news applications and used more facts in their essays. Findings of the present paper can shed new light on how to utilize digital materials for the purpose of enriching EFL writing content.

AbstractThe issue of culture is very important in the field of e-education. Accordingly, the purpose of present study was to investigate the learners’ cultural characteristics of e-education at PNU. The research method was descriptive and the instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire which was designed based on the four dimensions of Hofstede's cultural theory. These four dimensions investigated were power distance, uncertainty avoidance versus uncertainty acceptance, masculinity versus femininity, and collectivism versus individualism. Its content validity was determined by experts and its reliability was estimated using Cronbach alpha (83%). Participants were the students of PNU in Khuzestan province, who were studying in e-education courses in the academic year 2021-2022, and 897 participants responded to the online questionnaire using the available sampling method. Mean, standard deviation and one sample t-test were used for data analysis. The results compared with the test value of number three revealed: the mean of cultural characteristics of learners in PNU students in power distance are higher than that of the society mean, and the mean of the uncertainty avoidance factors is higher than the society mean and the mean of the factors of Uncertainty acceptance is lower than the society mean, in the dimension of masculinity verses femininity in both factors, the mean is higher than the society mean, in the dimension of collectivism verses individualism, mean of the factors related to collectivism is lower than the society mean and the mean of the factors related to Individualism was higher than the society mean. The research results provide guidelines for the design and implementation of e-learning courses.

Dynamic assessment (DA) is an effective strategy to combine teaching and testing and it is even more enjoyable through digital devices such as computer and moblie devices. The purpose of the current study was to investigate whether the effect of interventionist dynamic assessment through WhatsApp, Bigbluebutton, and face to face classes had significant impacts on English as a foreign language (EFL) learners’ learning of grammar. The participants of this quasi-experimental study were seventy-five male intermediate EFL learners studying English in one of the English language institutes in central Iran. Three intact pre-intermediate level classes were chosen based on non-random convenience sampling and assigned to the three groups of WhatsApp, Bigbluebutton, and traditional group. The instruments that were used in this study were the Oxford Quick Placement Test (OQPT) and a multiple-choice grammar test. Over the course of six sessions, all three groups received interventionist DA strategies in teaching countable and uncountable nouns and determiners. The results of statistical data analysis showed that all three groups had significantly progressed over the study since there was significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of each group. However, no statistically significant differences were found among the three groups’ means on the posttest of grammar. The findings have implications for language teachers and researchers of second language acquision.

AbstractThe human development index is a combined index for measuring the basic dimension of life, which is to have access to required facilities to gain knowledge, taking benefit of a long-time and healthy life and achievement to standard living level. The main objective of this study is to identify the economic factors affecting the growth of academic population in open and distance universities of Iran. The method applied in this study was documentary-analytical method and time series and ordinary least square (OLS) regression model were also used. Statistical population in this study consists of 500 PNU (Payame Noor University) centers. The data of the statistical population included number of applicants of BA of academic year 2001-2014 in PNU and the reliability of independent variables was confirmed using Dickey Fuller Test. Effective variables for distance education were firstly derived using Delphi method. The results obtained from this study show that total Customer Price Index (CPI), earning per master's degree, scholarship and student loan, Gross National Production (GNP),average household income, agriculture field tuition, human science tuition and national income have had positive effect on number of PNU applicants.

AbstractBy growth of technology in the field of education, many virtual universities have been established and at a same time, using e-learning has been increased in the universities. In the present study, a mixed method was used as a methodology. In the quantitative phase it initially sought to empirically examine the students' attitudes toward e-learning in Ferdowsi university of Mashhad, virtual campus. Then, the attitudes of MA students' majoring in English translation and English teaching (English group) were compared to M.Sc. students' attitudes majoring in four engineering majors (Engineering group). A total 80 virtual students (37.5% English language group and 62.5% Engineering group) who were using e-learning and were in the last year of education participated in the study. A valid and reliable questionnaire which was adopted from Vatanparast, Royani and Ghasemi in 2009, was used to investigate students' overall attitude toward e-learning. In the qualitative phase, two open ended questions were added at the end to investigate students' views and experiences in using e-learning. According to statistics, the overall attitudes of students toward e-learning was positive and there was no significant difference between students' attitude majoring in English language and students' attitude majoring in Engineering. However, in qualitative section the students mentioned essential difficulties and gave challenging comments for more effective learning based on their experiences during these years.

The main goal of the current research was to design a learning model using the characteristic of the structural approach in a blended learning environment in high school. This research is practical and theoretical in terms of purpose, and a qualitative and quantitative sequential mixed research method has been used. To do this research, the first question of the research was answered by studying and reviewing the available texts, documents and written sources and using the literature and research background and scientific sources. To answer the second question, Meyering and Delphi content analysis technique was used. In the first stage, the answer to the second question was obtained by using the qualitative study method, the content analysis technique of Meyering, and the desired components were extracted and used as a complement to the Delphi method. In the second stage, a panel of participants was formed using the snowball sampling technique, and the relevant experts were selected, and after presenting various questionnaires and conducting interviews, the desired components and indicators were selected and confirmed by the experts.Next, to answer the third question of the research, in order to validate the designed model, the Reigeluth questionnaire and Cronbach's alpha were applied to measure its reliability.Also, Kendall's coefficient of concordance was used to determine the level of consensus in the Delphi method. In order to check the content validity, the index model (CVI) was used and to determine its general suitability, (S-CVI) applied, and finally, based on the results and taking into consideration the corrections and suggestions of the professors, the final model was designed and approved.

The aim of the current research was the pathology of the virtual evaluation system in the elementary school. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of survey type. The population of this research included all primary school teachers in Miandoab city in the academic year of 2019-1400. Using proportional stratified random sampling method and using Morgan and Karjesi table, the sample size of 201 teachers was determined. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. The face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and professors of the Department of Educational Sciences. Descriptive statistics (frequency, mean and standard deviation, variance, etc.) and inferential statistics (one-sample t-test) were used to analyze the data. The data was analyzed using spss22 software. The results of the research indicated that the items (attention to the correlation of evaluation methods with general goals and behavior, the level of student readiness to enter electronic courses in evaluation, the way the teacher interacts with managers, other teachers, staff and knowledge students in the evaluation of the virtual environment, the level of knowledge and skills in the evaluation of virtual education) are management aspects in the pathology of virtual evaluation of the primary course; and cases (the need for hardware and software and web browsers in evaluation; the possibility of adding evaluation methods by the teacher; taking advantage of digital media and resources in evaluation; adapting the technological architecture to the evaluation schedule of the course; using educational tools for student evaluation; use of technical standards to share questions, assignments and feedback in evaluation) are the aspects of electronic technology in the pathology of virtual evaluation of the primary course; and issues (the extent of using inter-curricular questions for self-testing and encouraging content learning in evaluation; paying attention to setting the structure of each lesson and dividing it into sections of introduction, content, assignments and evaluation; integrating curriculum and electronic environment tools in virtual education in evaluation; the degree of participation of students' knowledge in the learning process in evaluation;
