چکیده
The prevalence and expansion of the use of online tests in all universities, especially in Payame Noor University, and the experience of using online tests in the conditions of Corona, raised the need to investigate ways to reduce cheating in this type of test. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to investigate the methods of reducing cheating in online exams at Payam Noor University in Isfahan province. A qualitative research method of thematic analysis was carried out. The study area included all students and professors of Payam Noor University in Isfahan province in the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022 .The 26 students and 12 professors were selected as a sample by using criterion-based purposeful sampling until reaching theoretical saturation. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The method of data analysis was carried out by the Atride-Sterling method with MAXQDA 2020 software. The findings showed 143 basic themes, 9 organizing themes and 4 inclusive themes from the students' point of view and 166 basic themes, 14 organizing themes and 5 inclusive themes from the professors' point of view. The findings of the research showed that the solutions to reduce cheating in the online exam from the point of view of professors and students are "solutions for changing the educational design of professors", "technological solutions", "solutions related to the system structure of the exam", "institutional level solutions" and also The distinguishing feature of professors' view towards students was "students' self-directed solutions".
