چکیده

فراگیران زبان انگلیسی مشکلات زیادی در مهارت آموزی تفکر نقادانه به منظور ارتقا سطح زبان انگلیسی خود دارند. این مقاله به بررسی تأثیرات سیستم آموز IB در ارتقاء مهارت های تفکر نقادانه، نگرش و رفتار و خواندن نقادانه یک جامعه نمونه متشکل از گروهی از فراگیران زبان انگلیسی در کلاس های ۱۱ و ۱۲ یکی از دبیرستان ها که هم سیستم درسی IB وهم سیستم معمولی (غیر IB) ارائه می دهد می پردازد. روش تحقیق بصورت شبه تجربی با انتخاب تصادفی گروه هدف و تقسیم آنها به دو گروه فرعی فراگیران با سیستم IB (گروه آزمایش) و فراگیران سیستم های معمولی وزارت آموزش و پرورش (گروه کنترل) و انجام دو مرحله آزمون های اولیه و نهائی از این دو گروه و مقایسه نتایج بدست آمده توسط این دو گروه و استنتاج اثرات سیستم آموزشی IB در رشد تفکر نقادانه فراگیران ی که این آموزش را فرا گرفته اند نسبت به گروه مقابل می باشد. در این رابطه ابتدا یک آزمون تخصصی از فراگیران بعمل آمد واز بین واجدین شرایط شصت دانش آموز به طور تصادفی انتخاب و در دو گروه سی نفری به شرح فوق دسته بندی شدند. نتایج تست های تجزیه و تحلیل کوواریانس ( ANCOVA) نشان داد که میانگین مهارت تفکر نقادانه گروه گیرنده آموزش IB از 23/67 به 76/109 افزایش یافته که گویای فراگیری بهتر زبان آموزان سیستم IB از نظر مهارت تفکر نقادانه، نگرش و رفتار و خواندن نقادانه در مقایسه با گروه مقابل می باشد. در نهایت، مفاهیم ضمنی مرتبط با این پژوهش مورد بحث قرار گرفته است.
